We left school on Friday the 13th of March and never returned to our classroom. My sixth graders reminded me often of the Friday the 13th significance.
At home, as we shifted to online learning (sort of), I began a routine of making comics, to make sense of the changed world.
This is nothing new for me, but I find comic-making as a way to use humor to grapple with the seriousness of the situation, and also as a reflective/observational tool for me.
