Creating the Staffroom with #EduCoffee

Back in March 2020 when we at Tec De Monterrey were sent to work from home I thought it would be a nice idea to have virtual coffees (or teas) with colleagues each day. It started as 11am (my local time) daily and expanded to twice daily (11am and 4pm). Monday, Wednesday, Friday in English and Tuesday, Thursday in Spanish as I live and work in México but work with many colleagues worldwide.

So far, this has been a success. I have only been by myself alone in the session twice and have loved meeting new people from around the world.

For me it is about putting some structure to my day and offering a space for other educators to meet and chat. My webpage documents (first name only) the attendees of each session. Please stop by!
