We created a Microsoft Team (TM) for faculty and Instructional Design at Nicolet college to facilitate communication during the pivot to remote teaching. It has turned into a place where faculty are helping faculty, sharing their stories, offering assessment alternatives when in-person testing is no longer available, and finding ways to connect across disciplines in new and innovative ways. Nursing faculty shared strategies and tips with the Culinary program instructors as both faced similar challenges.
The collaborative effort shown by this faculty team is a great demonstration of open education practices.
