Maybe you do not like the vertical stacking layout on the front page of this theme? It’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

You might want something more like those pinterest inspired mosaic image theme. All that (and more) can be more with the groovy WP Tiles plugin (ignore those 3 years old warnings, look how well it works below!).

You can design almost any kind of grid layout, use options to control display, selections from categories, etc. Just put the shortcode into a WordPress Page, edit around it. Then make that Page the front of your site in the WordPress Settings (under Reading).

How’s That Archive?
