Comment notification or not, that is one gem of a boomerang, that looks like a KoolaWaba model from the late 1970s.
Seriously (maybe) this is a comment on something published in a TRU Writer themed split, in fact, the original one made way back in 2014. Remember that publishers create content on a SPLOT without any kind of WordPress account. New settings allow such writers to elect to receive email notification of these comments IF they enter an email address and elect this option.
It took some fancy dancing coding to send a different formatted message to non WordPress account holders.
But there it is….
