It’s a test! This is a basic prototype of front end WordPress authoring (and no login required, even secret SPLOT ones) with an implementation of dropzone.js to allow drag and drop uploads of media for a featured image.
This was first tested as a possible way of redoing SPLOTs, but it remains an unsolved problem to preserve media embeds in the editor (and previews not quite there).
I made this as a more stripped down approach for some other projects needing a drag and drop upload element.
