How did we get to this image? What began as a chat over a tattoo session ended with an agreement to make a custom instrument. Buckeye burl is a chaotic storm of wood grain, fungus, and empty space. Elements of it are used all over this bass guitar, from the top, to the control knobs, to the control cover, to the side dots.
